By train
Take the train to Chur. SBB.

Change trains in Chur, taking the RhB (Rhätische Bahn) train on the Albula Line to Samedan (2 hours).
This stretch of the route contains many viaducts and spiral tunnels, making it one of Europe's most spectacular journeys. Change again in Samedan (the connecting train is on the opposite platform). After a further 10 minutes you arrive at Pontresina.
At Pontresina we will be glad to meet you with a hotel car - for stays longer than three nights free of charge.

By car
The Engadine can be reached by car easily on well made Alpine roads from northern Switzerland, from the Canton of Ticino, from Italy or from Austria.

Zurich - Pontresina 200 km, 3 hours (via Chur, Julierpass and St. Moritz)  
Basel - Pontresina 290 km, 4 hours (via Zürich, Chur, Julierpass and St. Moritz)  
Munich - Pontresina 360 km, 4 hours 

By bus
Starting at Lugano you can enjoy a beautiful scenic journey using the Palm Express to St. Moritz. The route takes you along the shores of Lake Como and over the Maloja Pass.
