In all of our guest rooms you will find a touch of nostalgia which has become rare in modern hotels. We have carried out regular, small scale improvements to be able to provide increasingly better standards of comfort. With this careful approach to modernisation we have been able to preserve the hotel's charm, and you will find practically no rooms which look exactly alike.

Older, not yet refurbished rooms with running water (bath/shower and WC are nearby on the corridor). In the main, these rooms are furnished in sixties style. Individual items of furniture which have replaced older pieces are of Swiss stone pine wood. The matresses and duvets are of course new, high quality products.

Older, not yet refurbished rooms with bathroom (bath, hip bath or shower, WC). These rooms and their bathrooms are also decorated in sixties style. The size of the rooms is variable - a feature nowadays only encountered in older hotels.

The rooms of categories A and B are equipped with hair dryer, satellite TV, radio and direct dial telephone.

Partly refurbished rooms with new, more modern furniture. These rooms have been completely renovated, with new doors, windows, drapes and carpets. They are equipped with satellite TV, a stereo system, refrigerator, internet broad band connection and direct dial telephone. The bathrooms still date from the sixties, but have been repainted and improved with a mirror cupboard, a hair dryer, pictures and other accessories.

Attractive, refurbished rooms with modern en suite bathrooms. In this category you can choose between bath/WC and shower/WC. Owing to our policy of slow, careful renovation, you will find that we have no such thing as a standard room. Each room has its own character - and all of them a lot of charm.

The arched room belongs in the C category. It is a little smaller than the other rooms of this category, but with its vaulted roof it has a very special atmosphere. By the way, this room used to be the kitchen of the old farmhouse.

The category C single rooms have also all been beautifully refurbished with a modern bath or shower unit with WC. The rooms are true singles, with just one bed and each with its own character and special charm. With their size and furnishings they amply deserve to be classified as 4 star standard.

A room completely box panelled with Swiss stone pine, with a small oriel forming a cosy reading corner. The bathroom's nostalgic flair is typified by the freestanding bathtub with its old-style fittings - for bath lovers. Please note that this bathroom has no shower fittings.

Rather smaller than the de luxe room, but furnished in the same style. There are only two rooms of this type: One is completely panelled with Swiss stone pine and it has a very spacious bathroom with shower and bath. The other room is larger and boasts a view over Pontresina.

Probably the most attractive room of all? There is an old parquet floor and a wonderful Swiss stone pine panelled ceiling displaying old lathe work. The old wall panelling - also stone pine - has been restored and reused. Both the room itself and the luxurious bathroom (shower and bath with mountain views) have been decorated with great attention to detail. Come and see for yourself!

Beautifully light rooms with 2 windows and a view over the whole village. The rooms each have large sitting areas and are fitted out with attractive new wooden furniture. What a pity - we only have two rooms of this type as well.

Category C, mini-de-luxe and de luxe rooms are all equipped with satellite TV, radio, hair dryer and direct dial telephone.
