If you are traveling from Switzerland, Germany or Italy, take the well-developed road connections to the Engadin. You can expect a varied and scenic journey to our hotel. The Grand Tour of Switzerland takes you directly through the Engadin. First take the A13 highway in the direction of Chur and take the exit to Landquart. Follow the country road as far as Thusis. There you have the choice of turning right over the Juliapass or left over the Albula and then on to Pontresina.

Just before Pontresina there is a large traffic circle, take the first exit and follow the road. Once in Pontresina, turn off at the first major junction in the direction of the town center. Follow the main road until you reach the Hotel Engadinerhof on the left-hand side.

An important note: You need a vignette to drive on Swiss highways. You can purchase these at border posts or petrol stations.

The Engadinerhof is easily accessible by train. From the main train stations of Basel, Zurich or St. Moritz, you can travel on to Pontresina in comfort on the Rhaetian Railway. Pontresina train station is only a 15-minute walk from the hotel.

For your arrival, we offer a free transfer from Pontresina train station to our hotel on request. Let us pick you up and enjoy the ride through the beautiful Upper Engadine

The Engadinerhof is only 10 minutes away from Engadin Airport, one of the highest airports in Europe, which is only accessible to private aircraft.

The international airport in Zurich is well connected to the Upper Engadine:
