How to find us
No matter which route you take – your journey through the Engadin is sure to offer unforgettable views and experiences.
The Engadinerhof is located in the picturesque village of Pontresina, in the heart of the Engadine, just a few kilometers from St. Moritz. You can easily reach your destination via the well-developed road network, by the RhB (Rhaetian Railway), or by plane. For our guests, we offer a free transfer to and from the Pontresina train station (only a 15-minute walk away) with our hotel shuttle bus.
Arrival by car
If you are traveling from Switzerland, Germany, or Italy, take the well-developed road connections into the Engadine. You can look forward to a varied and scenic journey to our hotel. The Grand Tour of Switzerland passes directly through the Engadine. Start by driving on the A13 highway towards Chur and take the exit for Landquart. Follow the main road to Thusis. From there, you can choose to drive right over the Julier Pass or left over the Albula Pass, continuing on to Pontresina.
Just before Pontresina, there is a large roundabout. Take the first exit and follow the road. Once in Pontresina, turn at the first major intersection towards the town center. Follow the main road until you reach the Engadinerhof Hotel on the left.
An important note: For driving on Swiss highways, you will need a motorway vignette, which can be purchased at border points or gas stations.
Arrival by Rhaetian Railway (RhB)
The Engadinerhof is easily accessible by train. From the main train stations in Basel, Zurich, or St. Moritz, you can comfortably continue your journey to Pontresina on the Rhaetian Railway. The Pontresina train station is only about a 15-minute walk from the hotel.
For your convenience, we offer a free transfer from the Pontresina station to our hotel upon request. Let us pick you up and enjoy the scenic drive through the beautiful Upper Engadine in complete relaxation.
Arrival by airplane
The Engadinerhof is only 10 minutes from Engadine Airport, one of the highest airports in Europe, which is exclusively accessible to private aircraft.
Zurich International Airport is well connected to the Upper Engadine:
From Zurich, it takes approximately 3 hours by train or car.
Upon request, we can arrange a transfer from the airport to ensure your journey is as comfortable as possible.
