Pontresina is located at an elevation of over 1,800 meters and, with about 320 days of sunshine a year, is a true paradise. Our historic hotel, founded in 1905, has been under new management since 2024 and is embarking on a new chapter: Together with a team of long-time employees, we are modernizing the hotel and its operations step by step. For the 2026/27 winter season, we are looking for a motivated and service-oriented individual who enjoys breaking new ground and will be a valuable addition to our front-office team.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Shared responsibility for ensuring that operations at the front desk run smoothly
- A warm and professional welcome and care for our guests
- Check-in and check-out, as well as guest correspondence
- Reservations, Availability, and Room Sales
- Active Complaint Management for High Guest Satisfaction
- Training and supporting new employees at the front desk
- Close collaboration with housekeeping, food and beverage, the kitchen, and hotel management
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE
- Completed training in the hospitality industry or equivalent professional experience
- Experience working at the front desk and with MEWS or a similar PMS is a plus
- A strong sense of hospitality and excellent interpersonal skills
- Organizational skills, resilience, and a sense of responsibility
- Strong communication skills and a structured, solution-oriented approach to work
- Excellent knowledge of German and English; Italian is a major plus
- A neat appearance and a professional demeanor
- EU/EFTA citizenship or a valid work permit for Switzerland
