The Engadinerhof is undergoing an exciting transformation. Under new ownership since 2023, we are renovating and repositioning this traditional hotel step by step.
Pontresina is located at an altitude of over 1,800 meters and, with 320 days of sunshine a year, is a true paradise. We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and service-oriented receptionist for our front office team—someone who is passionate about hospitality.
Your tasks
- Shared responsibility for ensuring that operations at the front desk run smoothly
- Ensuring a warm, professional welcome and service for guests
- Responsibility for check-in and check-out processes, as well as guest correspondence
- Active complaint management and ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction
- Scheduling, Training, and Coaching of Reception Staff
- Close collaboration with housekeeping, food and beverage, and hotel management
- Responsibility for Reservations, Availability, and Room Sales
- Participation in day-to-day operations
Your profile
- Completed training in the hospitality industry or equivalent professional experience
- Experience working at the front desk is a plus
- A strong sense of hospitality and excellent interpersonal skills
- Organizational skills, resilience, and a sense of responsibility
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to assert oneself
- A structured and solution-oriented approach to work
- Excellent German and English skills are required; Italian and other languages are a major plus
- Experience with common PMS systems (preferably MEWS) is a plus
- A neat appearance and a professional demeanor
